I was born in LA (West Covina) and grew up playing Sports my whole life in the Mojave Desert (Barstow) and Santa Maria CA. You could say sports came natural to me but what I didn’t realize until I started my own family is how much I would enjoy helping others get better. I started coaching in 2016 and found it to be very fulfilling. I still play in local leagues for fun. I truly thrive off individual development. I’ve been very fortunate to have connected and discussed youth development with many coaches from all around the world including Brazil, Italy, and Spain along with wonderful Coaches from the LA are. When I was 11-12 years of age a friend of the family took time out of his life to show me how to get better mastery of the ball and in the game. It completely opened my eyes to what was possible when you applied focus and determination with the right tools, technique, and skills. I do love to demonstrate technique and skills to the player/athlete. The reward for me is seeing them light up as they perform doing things they couldn’t before. I believe strongly that nutrition plays a key role in performance and I enjoy showing simple ways to make different food/drink choices that set the athlete a step above their competition. I have 5 kids and my wonderful wife Lori who believes in this mission of service to others. I am a God fearing man who trust in One (Trinity) as my source of Wisdom, Love, and Courage.

I can personally attest to the wonderful, insightful coaching methods of Daniel Barilone. He has so much passion and compassion when coaching soccer. He was my son’s soccer coach for multiple years and those seasons were the best. He truly wants the kids to learn and grow but also mature in the sport. My son really loved the fact that Daniel was an active player. He could show the kids what he wanted out of them. And that his coach could still pull off awesome moves. Daniel was kind yet strict. He takes the sport seriously but was not harsh or rude. Very encouraging and tried to bring up all the potential he saw in the kids. I believe he is a fantastic coach and coaches with heart.
